Connected Floer homology of covering involutions
Andras Stipsicz (Alfred Renyi Institute of Mathematics)
Abstract: Branched covers (and in particular double branched covers) can be conveniently used in studying concordance questions of knots and the standard three-sphere. Motivated by involutive Floer homology (and more generally, by connected Floer homology) we introduce an invariant of knots using the double branched cover (and its involution) in an essential way, and show some new independence results in the concordance group.
